Processes To Actively Raise Your Frequency
Play the Grateful Game
Begin by Looking around your immediate environment and gently noticing something that pleases you. Try to hold your attention on this pleasing object as you consider how wonderful, beautiful or useful it is, and as you focus upon it longer your positive feelings about it will increase. The longer you focus upon things that feel good to you, the easier it is for you to maintain those vibrational frequencies that feel good.Go for a Walk in Nature
Connecting to the Earth is naturally uplifting. Even just going for a brief walk around the block in the middle of the city can boost our mood quickly. Sometimes we just need an outdoor environment to lift us up!Listen to Music (and maybe even dance a bit!)
Music is a powerful tool for raising our frequency. Go to your faves that lift you up, maybe avoid the ones that remind you of lost loves…Meditate
Close your eyes and focus on your breath, let everything else fall away and be still. If you prefer guided meditation there are so many free meditations available on the internet to choose from.Yoga
Get that stuck energy moving! I absolutely adore “Yoga with Adriene” if you’re looking for yoga videos.Pranayama - Breathwork
There are many different types and you can find YouTube videos on how to do them:
Yogic Breath (belly breathing)
Dirga Breath (three-part or complete part)
Ujjayi (ocean sound breath)
Sama Vritti (equal breath)
Nadi Sodhana (alternate nostril breathing)
Bhramari (buzzing bee breath)
Kapalabhati (breath of fire)Visualization
Find a comfortable position, close your eyes and take a few cycles of centering breath. Envision energy flowing up from the Earth into the bottoms of your feet up through your body and igniting each of your chakras starting at the root and traveling all the way to your crown. Envision that energy flowing out of your crown and traveling up higher and higher into the cosmos raising your energy higher and higher as it goes.Participate in Your Favorite Hobby
If you have the time and it is convenient, do something that you love. It can be anything from playing music to creating in the kitchen to working out. Anything that gets our creative juices flowing is usually very uplifting. That post-exercise endorphin rush is an excellent time to practice connecting!Play the “Wouldn’t It Be Nice If…” Game
Asking this question to yourself naturally elicits from you a positive expectant response. This simple but powerful game will cause a raising of your vibration while it naturally orients you toward the things that you want.
A few examples are:
-Wouldn’t it be nice if I had a really productive day at work?
-Wouldn’t it be nice if my metabolism began to cooperate with me a little more?
-Wouldn’t it be nice if my guides were really direct with their guidance for me today?
-Wouldn’t it be nice if my physical body came into alignment with my dream?
-Wouldn’t it be nice if I discovered this to be much easier than it’s ever been before?
*These are just a few suggestions to help raise your frequency. In Esther and Jerry Hicks’ book “Ask And It Is Given” there are 22 fun and creative processes available to explore and try on to help raise your frequency and align you more toward your true self and soul-purpose. I highly recommend it!
**If you don’t have a ton of time, and you’ve been practicing your Conscious Connection for awhile now, to quickly raise your vibration, I recommend Yoga; Visualization; Meditation; and Pranayama. You will have received an audio copy of the Chakra-Opening Light Meditation we did together in class which will also help your connection when you first start practicing on your own.
